Top 5 Foods for Healthy Hair

While external care (shampoo, conditioner, keeping the scalp clean etc.) are a must for keeping the hair healthy, a balanced diet containing hair-friendly nutrients is also of paramount importance.
Minerals like iron, calcium, potassium, selenium, magnesium etc. play a vital role in keeping the hair and scalp healthy. Protein is also crucial for ensuring good healthy hair growth.Protein deficiencies or low-quality protein can produce weak and brittle hair, and can eventually result in loss of hair color.

Let’s take a look at five super foods for hair:
Whole Grains
It is widely known that whole grains have more nutrients per unit than their refined counterparts. Add to this the large quantities of fibre they have which makes them really good for our digestive system. They can be easily digested, contain a lot of antioxidants and help keep chronic diseases like cancer, diabetes, obesity and constipation at bay. All these qualities also make them ‘super-foods’ for healthy hair.

Calcium-rich Foods
Calcium is also a key nutrient for maintaining hair health. Now a lot of calcium is used up by daily wear and tear and one needs to consume adequate calcium-rich foods to replenish lost calcium. IS MUMBAI HAUNTED ??

Haunted Mumbai:Guess which well-known hotel is missing a 13th floor

The Trident Hotel at Nariman Point -- a victim of triskaidekaphobia.

You can’t get to the 13th floor of the Trident Hotel at Nariman Point because there isn’t one. In fact, it is not uncommon for skyscrapers in Mumbai’s commercial district -- like Hoechst, Maker Chambers and Atlanta -- to exclude 13 when numbering their floors.

However, urban legends and local superstitions in haunted Mumbai go beyond mere triskaidekaphobia.

Stories of ghosts, unexplained serial suicides, abandoned mills, haunted houses and territorial widows in white saris determined to make people’s lives miserable from the afterlife, populate a large unofficial body of local folklore.

Despite the catalog of gruesome urban legends, Mumbai is a city with its head on its shoulders; a city with too much grit to capitulate to ghost stories

Grand Paradi Towers.
No one will ever stop driving down the winding road from the Tower of Silence that offers one of the best views of the city; and the price of an apartment at Grand Paradi will surely frighten a Mumbaiker before any old story about spiteful spirits.

A spate of suicides here makes the luxurious Grand Paradi apartments one of Mumbai most notorious residential  …

Arguably the most famous haunted Mumbai house is situated in one of the city’s most affluent areas.

On the eighth floor of the Grand Paradi Towers in Kemps Corner, a series of freakish suicides drew attention to what appeared to be a gruesome pattern of deaths and accidents in the building.

In 2004 an elderly couple jumped out of the window of this apartment. Their children and their grandchild followed suit within the year.

“There was something unacceptable to our rational minds that a whole family, three generations, living in one house should commit suicide in the same way," says a resident who has lived in the building for 30 years. "There have been up to 20 fatal accidents and suicides since the building was constructed in 1976. Many involving children and even a maid who either jumped or fell out of a window."

After the series of unfortunate events the building society began to believe that paranormal forces were at work.
“After the suicides of the family the building society decided to do a puja and a havan (prayer ceremonies) and since then everything has stopped but the flat remains unoccupied," another resident tell us.

 Sanjay Gandhi National Park

You think this gate could keep the phantom hitchhiker out?

Located on the northern fringes of Mumbai, this large protected area is usually where visitors go in search of wildlife.

There are rumors however, that at night people see a phantom hitchhiker.
Dubious as this sounds, forest guards insist it's true.

 Mukesh Mills

For nearly 30 years the derelict Mukesh Mills was used by film and television crews. It's now making way for a …

Shut down in 1980, this enormous abandoned mill in Colaba has been the shooting ground for numerous Bollywood films and advertisements.

Deserted and rundown, Mukesh Mills is a ready-made set for horror films and Gothic shows, especially considering the mills are actually considered to be haunted.

Many directors, actors and producers refuse to work here past sunset.

One television actress claimed to have had a particularly bad experience when one of her female co-stars suddenly began speaking in a manly voice, as if she were possessed, telling the crew to leave the premises immediately.

Others say this haunted Mumbai area is jinxed and people are always losing their belongings, wallets and phones.
Mukesh Mills will soon be demolished and replaced by a new high-rise residential and commercial complex and a five-star hotel.

 Tower of Silence

The Tower of Silence, a Parsi temple near Bombay, circa 1955.

Sounds ominous doesn’t it? The Tower of Silence is actually a Parsi cemetery situated rather picturesquely on Malabar Hill in South Mumbai.

Custom dictates that Parsis leave the bodies of their dead for vultures to feed on.

The graphic images that come to mind lend themselves to all sorts of horrifying stories.

The winding road that leads down the hill is particularly desolate and eerie at night and the place has become recognized as a kind of ghoulish hangout.
The weird happenings at the Grand Paradi Towers for instance, were blamed on spectral forces emanating from this cemetery.

10 facts about Muammar Gaddafi

Libya's deposed leader Muammar Gaddafi was injured and captured by fighters of the Libyan National Transitional Council. Here are some facts about Gaddafi:

  1. Muammar Gaddafi was born to a Bedouin herdsman in 1942 in a tent near Sirte on the Mediterranean coast. He abandoned university geography studies for a military career that included a short spell at a British army signals school.

  2. Muammar Gaddafi is the longest-serving leader in both Africa and the Arab world, having ruled Libya since he toppled King Idris I in a bloodless coup at the age of 27.

  3. Muammar Gaddafi embraced the pan-Arabism and tried without success to merge Libya, Egypt and Syria into a federation. A similar attempt by him to join Libya and Tunisia also ended in acrimony.

  4. In 1977 he changed the country's name to the Great Socialist Popular Libyan Arab Jamahiriyah (State of the Masses) and allowed people to air their views at people's congresses

  5. Gaddafi was shunned internationally because the West accused him of terrorism, abandoned his programme of prohibited weapons in 2003 to return Libya into international mainstream politics

  6. UN sanctions, imposed in 1992 to pressure Tripoli to hand over two Libyan suspects for trial for the 1988 Lockerbie airliner bombing over Scotland, crippled oil-rich Libya's economy, dampened Gaddafi's revolutionary spirit and took the sting out of his anti-capitalist, anti-Western rhetoric.

  7. In September 2004, US President George W. Bush formally ended a trade embargo as a result of Gaddafi's scrapping of the arms programme and taking responsibility for Lockerbie.

  8. In August 2006, Gaddafi made a series of speeches scolding his nation for over-reliance on petroleum, foreigners and imports and telling them to start making things people need.

  9. Gaddafi said in an interview that he feared the change of power in Tunisia was being exploited by foreign intervention

  10. He also denied that he had invited deposed Tunisian President Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali to Libya. In a speech soon after Ben Ali's departure, Gaddafi said he was "pained" by the violent events in Tunisia, that people there had been too hasty in pushing Ben Ali out and that blood might have been shed unnecessarily.

WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT WINES

You have always  wondered if your red wine would go well with tandoori chicken and if storing it after uncorking the bottle is a good idea. Craig Wedge, renowned wine connoisseur who is visiting at Renaissance Hotel, Mumbai bursts some myths.

Excerpts from the interview:
Why are so many red wines oak-aged?
Oak maturation happens in red wine 95% of the time and there is no partiality when it comes to country, region or variety of red grape.  It is a tool of the wine maker, and the key influences of oak such as colour, flavour, tannins and the texture of the wine, are dependent upon the winemakers use of the oak and the coveted finished product. I further suggest a distinction between the term maturation and aging. Term maturation used for the changes during bulk storage (oak Barrel) and aging used for the changes during bottle storage.

What's the difference between 'New World' and 'Old World'

Old World wine refers primarily to wine made in Europe but can also include other regions of the Mediterranean basin with long histories of winemaking such as North Africa and the Near East. The phrase is often used in contrast to "New World wine" which refers primarily to wines from New World wine regions such as the United States, Australia, South America and South Africa.

How long will the wine keep after it is opened?
Wine should be consumed within 3 -4 days after the bottle has been opened. Once a bottle of wine is opened, the oxygen in the air starts a process that initially softens the flavours and opens up the aromas of the wine. As this process (oxidation) continues over many hours and days, the wine is ultimately made undrinkable.

What kind of wines improve with age?

The ability of a wine to age is influenced by many factors including grape variety, vintage, viticulture practices, wine region and winemaking style. The condition that the wine is kept in after bottling can also influence how well a wine ages and may require significant time and financial investment.
As a general rule of thumb, the following is the ideal guide.

Chardonnay (2—6 yrs)
Riesling (2—30 yrs)
Cabernet Sauvignon (4—20 yrs)
Merlot (2—10 yrs)
Barolo (4—20 yrs)
Chianti Classico (2—8 yrs)
Syrah (4—16 yrs)
Classified Bordeaux (8—25 yrs)
Grand Cru Burgundy (8—25 yrs)

Which wine goes best with Indian food?
There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to food and wine marriage. I would suggest keeping your eyes and ears open and always be flexible when it comes to trying new things. As a great starting place, I would suggest for whites a Chenin Blanc from India's newest sensation Fratelli Wines, or a Chardonnay from Chile's Vina Caliterra. As far as reds go, the MTB Malbec from the Argentine producer Costaflores is a fabulous accompaniment to a spicy curry.

Does wine taste different depending on the glass it's served in?

Indeed it does. The shape and volume of the bowl, the width of the opening, the weight of the glass and the edge of the rim, all have an impact on the aroma profile and flavour components and the subsequent overall perception of the variety of wine being drunk.

What food goes best with red and white wine respectively?

The days of red wine with meat and white with fish have happily disappeared. The gloves are off so to speak and the world of food and wine is waiting. Try everything with anything. Sometimes it will work, other times it will fail miserably, but I have to tell you that it is the journey that is important, not the destination. And It can be so much fun.

What does it mean when a wine is sweet or dry?
Dry and Sweet wines are determined by the level of residual sugar left in wine after it has fermented. Other factors such as acidity, tannins and alcohol will affect the perception of what is sweet and what is dry.

"TAJ MAHAL" MAY COLLAPSE

The white marble complex is undoubtedly India’s most-recognizable monument, inevitably featuring in the itinerary of most tourists and visiting heads of state (with the exception of U.S. President Barack Obama.)
It is understandable, then, that when the Daily Mail, the British tabloid, reported last week that the Taj Mahal risked collapsing, panic ensued.

But is there really reason to worry?

The alarm bells were first raised by Ramshankar Katheria, Agra MP for the opposition
Bharatiya Janata Party. If he is to be believed, the monument built by Emperor Shah Jahan
for his wife Mumtaz could collapse within three to five years. It’s not just the future of the
monument that is at stake but that of India as a whole, Mr. Katheria told India Real Time in a
recent interview. “India’s pride is in grave danger,” he said.

WHY??

Mr. Katheria says the wooden foundations of the Mughal-era mausoleum, buried deep within the river  Yamuna, are decaying due to the river’s receding water level. “The foundation is such that the water flow strengthens its hold to shoulder the monument,” he explained. “Not only are wooden planks loosening but (  they) are also rotting due to lack of moisture in their surface,” he added.
He is the pioneer of the “Taj Bachao Sang,” or “Save the Taj Together” campaign, an initiative launched last  year to protect the memorial. The campaign’s team, which includes historians and archeologists, also allege  that cracks have emerged on the monument’s surface and that several minarets are showing signs of tilting.
“Our conclusions are based on a systematic year-long research,” said the MP.

  GOVERNMENT
This is an issue Mr. Katheria has discussed with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and President Pratibha Patil. “Promises were made during these meetings but not
followed by tangible results from their end,” he said. “Our only request is that a strict enquiry is issued into the matter. Is that too much to ask for?”
Spokesmen for the Prime Minister were not immediately reachable for comment.

WORD FROM OTHER EXPERTS.....
Other experts, however, disagree with Mr. Katheria’s assessment. The Archaeological Survey of India, the state-run agency in charge of preserving the monument, slammed these claims. “These are shameless publicity stunts deployed to attract media attention,” a senior ASI official based in Agra told India Real Time. He said this was a “pointless alarm” and the issue of the foundations was being “over exaggerated.” The official said that, following media reports, an ASI team of engineers and archaeologists went to examine the site and that “no major threat was detected.” He said the ASI “is undertaking all necessary measures to safeguard the Taj Mahal.”
A spokesman for Mr. Katheria said that his Taj Mahal campaign is in the broader national interest and that there is “no political agenda” behind it. He declined to comment on whether Mr. Katheria plans to run for upcoming elections in his home state of Uttar Pradesh, slated for 2012.
Ruknuddin Mirza, a conservation archeologist at the Indian National Trust For Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), also questioned Mr. Katheria’s alarmism. “Though it is of utmost importance to investigate these allegations, time and again ASI has substantiated their worth in preserving cultural heritage” he said.
This is not the first time the Taj Mahal has fallen prey to controversy. In the early 1980s, activistMahesh Chander Mehta said pollution was damaging the white marble structure. It took around a decade before authorities backed his claims, with the Supreme Court ordering factories in and around Agra to be shut down.

WHAT TO WEAR ON A FIRST DATE

What to Wear on a First Date

The first date and the first impression definitely cannot go wrong. And that comes from one’s self presentation, which includes clothing, etiquettes, grooming…everything.
It actually shows how seriously you have taken the whole affair of things and thereby shows respect for the person, to whom you are going to meet. Now, let’s see the dos and don’ts of this particular state ofaffairs. Essentially, be what you are. Don’t fake. It really works.
What to Wear on a First Date
Wear what suits you and appeals to your body type and personality. Choose the color of your shirt which goes best with your skin tone. It’s safe. Remember, to show your other (wild and experimental) side in the followed frequent meetings, if everything goes fine hereafter. Be easy
on the eye. If you have been wearing glasses and on the day you try for the contacts, remember your eyes might take time to adjust and might cause discomfort. So avoid this hassle on the first date. Be your natural self. Or else try them, few days beforehand.
What to Wear on a First Date
Just to be trendy, don’t wear a colour which does not suit your complexion. If wide legged bottoms are in and you are of short stature, avoid wearing them.Dress as per the occasion or venue of meeting. Unless you are going to an opera or a theatre, don’t try on a tie. It will look to dressy for a date. If out to a high end formal restaurant, you can sport a casual jacket with a smart polo or a crew neck inside. So that if you progress to a more relaxed zone, can knock off the jacket and still be a part of the occasion and enjoy the moments.
What to Wear on a First Date
Can’t ignore the accessories. Your belt, your watch, your shoes and if you have a liking for any sort of jewellery. Coordinate your ensemble keeping in mind the occasion and the venue. Matching your belt with your watch, are like basic etiquettes of dressing. Don’t wear something snazzy or loud. Avoid wearing floaters. They are too casual.
What to Wear on a First Date
Don’t wear anything with words written on them. Play safe with plain tees and shirts. After all, you never know if it might strike the wrong chord on the very first day Wear clothes that fit you to the ‘T’. Ill fitted clothes are non impressive.
However, they should not be body hugging. Kindly do not try to impress too hard on the very first day. Wear what makes you feel at ease and lets you move around in comfort. You should be free to perform various functions, eat, walk, dance, etc. Please do not fidget with your fly, belt, tuck of yourshirt, constantly pulling your bottoms high up, as if they are slipping off. Avoid all this like a plague as they're a definite turn off.
What to Wear on a First Date
Don’t try to fit in something which is not your body size- too small or enormous.
Do not try the cologne too hard. Smell good but be gentle. Be careful with your choice of fragrancealso. It should not pass off as a lady’s perfume. Keep the phone on silent. Don’t keep fumbling with your gadgets. It will pass on as, if do not much care the presence of the lady in front of you.
What to Wear on a First Date
You should be well shaven and clean. Not many women appreciate the unshaven stubble look. Keep it for later. A french beard is one of the few looks, which some really find impressive; gives an intellectual appeal. Clip your fingernails and also your toe nails. Use the aftershave

IMPORTANT MANNERS YOU SHOULD TEACH YOUR LITTLE ONES

A young child usually takes great delight in the sort of habits that adults regard as bad manners: first, because they usually ease feelings of discomfort, and second, because of the response that greets them.

We all want to raise our little ones to be polite and well behaved, and learning those lessons starts at home. It's never too early to teach your little ones basic manners! Here are eight of the most important manners you should try to teach your little ones before they go to school. They won't remember them all, or get them right every time, but patience and perseverance should get you through:

1.    Always say please and thank you.
Whether they're activities as small as giving your little one a snack, or them asking if they can play in the garden, always reinforce the importance of saying please and thank you. No matter how young your children are, you can't start enforcing this rule too early!
2.    Mind the language
There will come a moment every parent dreads: the moment your little one swears. And then finds it funny! The worst thing you can do in this scenario is laugh. Let them know that you already know that word, you think it's unpleasant, not funny, and ask your little one not to use it again!
3.    Play dates
When you're little ones go on play dates, or to birthday parties, remind them to thank their friends parents for having them over. If you aren't going to be attending the play date or event with your little one, ensure your little ones know they should treat their friends parents (and all grown-ups) with the same respect they treat you.
4.    Birthday party etiquette
It's often said that kids go wild at birthday parties - all the sweet snacks and fun can make little ones get excited, and sometimes forget their manners. But no matter how excited your little one is on their birthday, there are some manners they shouldn't forget: to open their presents thoughtfully (not ripping off the paper, or tossing the present to one side as soon as they've seen it) and to say thank you for every gift, and to every attendee.
5.  Excuse me!
Once your little ones have mastered saying please and thank you, teach them to say excuse me. It's the polite thing to say when you have to interrupt someone, or bump into somebody.

6.    Don't be mean
Kids tease each other, and they find it funny. But this can sometimes go a step too far and lead to bullying. Make sure your little ones don't call others mean names, and don't make fun of anyone for any reason. Ganging up on someone else is cruel, not clever.
7.     Table manners
When your tiny tots are just learning to eat at the table, start teaching them the manners you'd like them to have for the rest of their lives! Rules like not eating with their mouths open, or not putting their elbows on the table, are good life lessons for your children to learn as soon as possible.

8.    TMI!
There are some things that are too much information, and that your little ones shouldn't talk about in public! These include genitals, poo, nose picking, and all the other gory things that amuse kids!

SO READ ON AND FIND OUT THE SOLUTION

Facebook can track the web pages you visit, even when you are logged out of the social networking giant.
when the user is logged out of Facebook, rather than deleting its tracking cookies, the site merely modifies them, maintaining account information and other unique tokens that can be used to identify its users.

this simply means that any time you visit a web page with a Facebook button or widget, your browser is still sending personally identifiable information back to Facebook."Even if you are logged out, Facebook still knows and can track every page you visit,"

people tried to contact Facebook to inform but did not get a reply, there were significant risks to the privacy of users, particularly those using public terminals to access Facebook.

"Facebook are front-and-centre in the new privacy debate just as Microsoft were with security issues a decade ago,"

"The question is what it will take for Facebook to address privacy issues and to give their users the tools required to manage their privacy and to implement clear policies - not pages and pages of confusing legal documentation, and 'logout' not really meaning 'logout',

WAYS TO PREVENT THIS

IS HOOKAH BAD ???

HEYY !! GUYS AS WE PROMISED  WE ARE HERE WITH A COVER STORY ABOUT HOOKAH a.k.a. SHEESHA.

THE TOBACCO HOOKAH OF THE GREAT GRAND FATHER  IS A MULTI FLAVOURED  "SEESHA" FOR A SIXTEEN YEAR OLD  RATHER FORTEEN

HOOKAH  is becoming more popular these days as people move away from traditional cigarette smoking. Smoking cigarettes doesn't hold the same social status and appeal as it once did. Smoking flavored tobacco through a hookah pipe offers an alternative for people who want to smoke socially but don't like the taste and negative side effects of smoking cigarettes.

Tobacco smoked through a hookah does not contain many of the harmful ingredients which are common in cigarettes, such as nicotine and tar. The smoke is also cooled by the water in the pipe, making the taste and texture of the smoke cooler and more pleasant THIS IS WHAT MANY BELIEVE

In actual fact, a lot of what's called "flavored tobacco" is not really tobacco. What "tobacco" that is available for hookah smoking is often made from herbs. Much of this is actually what's called "maasel" - dried leaves flavored oils or juices. Maasel also commonly has honey or molasses mixed in to give it sweetness and texture, and to alter how quickly the leaves burn.

There are many different tobacco flavors available these days - the possibilities really are limitless, but some flavors have become more popular than others. Fruit flavorings, such as apple, are a common choice. The split is generally somewhere between 25-30% tobacco or herb leaves combined with 70-75% flavoring ingredients.

Other popular flavors include:

Orange
Strawberry
Watermelon
Chocolate
Vanilla

MANY BELIEVES THAT HOOKAH IS NOT HARMFUL AND GUESS WHAT MANY OF YOU WRONG!!!!!!

Flavored hookah tobacco is less contaminated with harmful ingredients than cigarettes. Many smokers, or young people who have never tried cigarettes but like the idea of smoking, have found flavored tobacco to be an appealing alternative. However, it is not completely free of harmful ingredients and like anything, it should be consumed in moderation.

The Results of Hookah Smoking: How Is It Achieved?
Hookah smoking is carried out by means of a special water pipe that comprises a bowl for holding the shisha or flavored tobacco. The bottom of the pipe accommodates water and the smoke is sucked by way of a protracted, thin pipe. When the hookah smoker inhales by way of the pipe, the smoke passes via the water earlier than it enters the pipe to be inhaled into the lungs. Many consider that the water filters out most of the toxins contained throughout the tobacco, making the results of hookah smoking much less damaging than traditional cigarettes. Another argument for the protection of hookah smoking is that some users use shisha tobaccos which might be decrease in nicotine than traditional cigarette tobacco. Despite this, it appears that extra smoke is inhaled in a single hookah session than by those who smoke traditional cigarettes. It’s because the smoke is cooled earlier than being inhaled, permitting larger quantities to be inhaled and held within the lungs for longer periods of time.

Side Results of Hookah Smoking
: How Does It Compare to Cigarette Smoking? Are the consequences of hookah less damaging than cigarette smoking? One research that checked out nicotine and ranges of a breakdown product of nicotine within the urine discovered that both have been elevated in hookah people who smoke, though ranges have been barely lower than those seen in Generally known as facts  to the regulars is a dive bar located in the backside half of the University Mall across from George Mason University.
The peanuts are free and you’ll toss them on the floor. The drinks are low-cost and normally served in a plastic cup. There are specials every night time the most important of which is half worth Wednesday wing night. The wings are superb and the perfect in Fairfax, they come by the pound so be ready.
cigarette smokers. Not solely that, however hookah people who smoke are exposed to different toxins equivalent to carbon monoxide, heavy metals, and a variety of cancer causing chemicals which are not any less harmful than those found in cigarette smoke.

It appears that hookah people who smoke have the identical increased threat of developing lung illness and lung

HOW TO BUY A GIFT FOR YOUR GIRL

This situation comes in everyones life and we get so confused about what to buy for her.HERE I TRIED TO EXPLAIN HOPE IT HELPS!!!

alt
It's been ages and you haven't gifted anything to your girl. Reason? You have no idea what you should gift her.
Here's some quick and easy advice:

Think about what all she Likes

Pay attention to what she likes to do when the two of you are together. What movies she likes to see, what kind of clothes she likes to wear, what kind of foods she gorges on, what are her favourite colours, her intellectual inclinations, the music she likes to listen etc. This will give you an idea about her general tastes in life. If you think you are one of those who find it hard to judge people and ascertain their likes and dislikes, then go ahead and ask her. But don't make it sound too obvious to her that you want to buy a gift for her.

Think about the kind of Person she is

Is she a brand addict or all she cares is that she should look good in whatever she wears? Or is she one of those who hardly care? Or is she a tomboyish girl who enjoys climbing trees and running around bare feet? Is she obsessed with chocolates? Try and explore her inherent nature and thought process. Try to determine the things that give her true happiness. At the same time think about what she does in her spare time. Maybe she likes sketching, so you can get her a sketching set. Or maybe she likes gaming! So you can buy her a PSP.

alt
Also, it'll be worth doing some brainstorming. Try to recall past conversations to see if she ever gave you any hints about presents or stuff she would like you to buy. Think, if she has been planning to acquire something for a long time, something which has been on her wishlist since ages.

Talking to Other People

Get the journalist in you to do some work. Talk to her friends. You can even talk to her mother. Usually a friend or a parent can have a really good sense of her tastes because of knowing her for a long time and would be more than happy to help.

Go Out and Get it

Once you've done enough research, it's time to go out and procure the gift. Do not spend months in just doing the research. At the most, take a week's time for that. You have to decide upon some thing or the other. Once decided, go out and buy the gift. Get it nicely wrapped. Attaching a personal note with it is strongly recommended and she is sure to love it.

alt

Sometimes, the Simplest Things Work

It is not mandatory that you have to buy fancy jewellry for her or some other expensive stuff. Sometimes, even the most simple things can do wonders. Buy her a simple flower, and if you are close to where she lives, leave it on her step. Also leave a little note saying something like "I'm thinking of you" or other nice things. Even if the girl doesn't like flowers, she will like that fact that you're thinking of her and think it's kind of romantic.

No Cash at all

Whatever you do, please don't give her money. If you can't figure out what to gift her, then give her a shopping voucher for a good store but no money, for Good Lord's sake!

Experimentation is Welcome

If you think that usual stuff like clothes, CDs, etc. can be quite boring, then there's no harm in walking an extra mile and doing something different. You can get a t-shirt designed for her or get custom made handicrafts. You can gift her a vacation to the hills, a hand-painted portrait, etc. Such things are sure to excite her and make her fall in love with you all over again.

"THE DEAD LIVE HERE"

Its late guys i know!!! thanx for waiting. But here is a crazy story for you guys about a hotel in japan for the dead.
i know u will say its crazy but its true.death is a  pretty cool business there huh !!!
you guys will come to know as you read on

A hotel in Japan turns down young couples who come looking for a place to stay. This hotel has only 'cold-storage' rooms -- that too for the dead!
Situated in Yokohama, the Lastel hotel though looks much like any other lodging, it stores the deceased in refrigerated coffins so that mourning relatives can visit any time.
These are, however, not permanent hotel guests. They are waiting their turn at the city's crowded crematoriums.
There are 18 corpses, all tucked up in refrigerated coffins. Each coffin costs around 12,000 yen ($157).
Hotel owner Hisayoshi Teramura says about the couples who come asking for rooms: 'We tell them we only have cold rooms.'
Death in Japan has become a 'rare booming market'
In 2010, according to government records, 1.2 million people died. Around 55,000 more people died than in 2009.

Over the past decade, an average of 23,000 more people died each year in Japan.
Annual deaths by 2040 are expected to reach 1.66 million.
Teramura's hotel for the dead stores and chills encoffined corpses, and delivers them through hatches into a viewing room, whenever friends and family come to pay their respects.
In Yokohama city, the average wait for a crematorium is more than four days.
'Otherwise people have to keep the bodies at home where there isn't much space,' said Teramura.
